Dr. Michael W. Kleeman is a board-certified urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons specializing in comprehensive urologic care, minimally invasive surgery, and transplant urology. He is experienced in advanced laser, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical techniques for a wide range of urologic conditions.

Dr. Kleeman completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Vermont before earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000.

He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (Medical College of Virginia), finishing in 2005. Following residency, he completed an ASTS fellowship in kidney and pancreas transplant surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Kleeman has been in private practice on Long Island, where he provides advanced urologic care and remains active on the medical staff at multiple regional hospitals. He also serves in an academic role as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery and has contributed to peer-reviewed urologic literature.

Outside of medicine, he is committed to community health initiatives and previously co-founded a free healthcare clinic in Maine that operated for more than two decades.
