Dr. Goldberg is a board-certified urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, recognized as a pioneer in robotic urologic surgery and a leader in the treatment of prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers. He was the first to perform robotic prostatectomy on Long Island, advancing minimally invasive urologic care in the region.

Dr. Goldberg earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his urology residency and fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, with additional specialty training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Since 1995, he has been in clinical practice, focusing on minimally invasive and robotic approaches to urologic surgery. A recognized leader in urologic surgery, Dr. Goldberg performed the first robotic prostatectomy on Long Island, playing a pivotal role in introducing and advancing this technology in the region for urologic cancers, helping improve surgical precision, reduce recovery times, and enhance patient outcomes.

He currently serves as Director of Urology at St. Francis Hospital, where he has helped lead the program to clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality patient-centered care. He also serves as Co-Chairman of the AUCNY Bladder and Kidney Cancer Committee, where he contributes to the development of advanced treatment protocols and clinical trials in urologic oncology.
