Dr. Faiella was born in Brooklyn, raised on Long Island, obtaining his medical degree with Honors from New York Medical College, delivering the commencement address in 1991. Dr. Faiella completed his General Surgical and Urologic Surgical residencies through Cornell University/ New York Hospital and New York Medical College Hospital Consortium in 1997. He has been a fulltime partner at the Garden City West division of Integrated Medical Professionals, since 1997 and has served as Director of Urologic Oncology at Winthrop University/NYU LI Hospital 2008–2012. Dr Faiella is very involved in residency training for the NYU LI Urology residency program and was awarded “Teacher of the Year” in 2024 by the Department of Urology.
Dr. Faiella has served as a member of the Utilization Review Committee as well as an Administrative Board member of Integrated Medical Professionals. He most recently served on the Advanced Prostate Cancer care committee (CRPC committee- Castrate Resistant Prostate Cancer). He is known for combining expertise in open, laparoscopic, cystoscopic, percutaneous, and laser-based surgical procedures with personalized patient care. His practice has more recently focused on management of Prostate and Bladder cancers with advanced therapeutics. He does, however, remain very active in kidney stone management, benign prostate enlargement, both traditional and minimally invasive therapeutics. Also, he is well known for extensive experience in the “No Scalpel Technique” Vasectomy. He is accepting new patients.
